counseling services

When we have our first consultation, it will be of primary importance to determine whether my support will be a good match for you. Time and money are finite resources so it is essential that we both feel that our work together will help you to meet your future goals.

My work is underpinned by Carl Rogers' philosophy
of unconditional positive regard.

This means that I will meet you and accept you as you are, with kindness and compassion.

areas of focus:

the expatriate experience
transitions from high school to college
finding your voice in the uni application process
transitions from uni life to adulthood
navigating 'adulthood'

determining what to study in college
deciding what to pursue after a gap year
finding one's way in this wild world of work

Together, I hope that we will be able to find clarity in your voice, tap into your inner courage and commit to achievable life goals. Our work will be purpose-driven, reflective, and thoughtful.

transparency with fees

Life is all about options. The following are different packages to meet individual needs that will align with your personal goals, whether in regard to life transitions, future planning or college aspirations.

educational consulting

In addition to my individual work with young adults, I value opportunities to engage with schools and universities in a consultative capacity. Having worked in public, private and international school contexts across the globe while nurturing university partnerships along the way, I have a unique view on the challenges young people face when planning for the future. My project work with schools are primarily focused on increasing exposure to higher education opportunities. My work with universities entail coaching young people as they brave uncertainty during their undergraduate studies.

speaking engagements

Lastly, while introverted at heart, I am a passionate public speaker! Given my personal and professional background, my presentations are often rooted in mindfulness, a practice that can support individuals in making thoughtful, measured decisions throughout life. I have presented at several Council of International Schools (CIS) conferences and was a TEDx speaker in Oslo, Norway. It is worth noting that my presentations are sometimes sprinkled with humor, music, or both - all dependent on how seriously my audience takes themselves.

possible topics:

reclaiming the precious present
the magic of shared language
the silent superpower of listening
happy students, flourishing schools
imagining ikigai
